DRAGONFORCE C2 DEMO AT APCO 2023
The Mansfield Office of Emergency Management and Mansfield PD facilitated and hosted a Multi-jurisdictional task force where locations under camera surveillance were mapped in DragonForce
“The Mansfield Office of Emergency Management and Mansfield PD facilitated and hosted a Multi-jurisdictional task force consisting of 8 different agencies over a period of 3 days. The locations under camera surveillance were mapped in DragonForce. There were 10 officers logged in on cell phone and being tracked on the map in real time as they moved in on the suspects and made the arrests.
The agencies involved were jointly located in the Emergency Operations Center which was utilized as a command post for the tactical operations. A live video feed of the area of operation and DragonForce were displayed on a large media wall for situational awareness. We utilized DragonForce to track our officers, talk to them by way of PTT and message them throughout the operational period.
Eight of the 10 officers had never used DragonForce. They were given a brief overview and had no problems. DragonForce performed flawlessly for the entire three day operation and provided great situational awareness. I would recommend it to any agency wanting to manage disasters, tactical operations or local events.
The end of the operation resulted in the arrest of numerous bad actors.”

DragonForce and City of Salem, OR Evolve Crowd Control Operations Mid-protest and Deploy within the same day for added protection
BLUE BELL, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, March 22, 2021
Drakontas, the maker of the industry-leading commanding control platform, DragonForce, and City of Salem, OR, have upgraded their emergency response operations. The City of Salem asked for support with a trial during the recent state of Oregon Capital Protection detail and crowd control needs during the inauguration of President Joe Biden. Dragonforce was able to provision and deploy users within less than an hour and train the city of Salem users to augment their systems in their new Emergency Operations Center to monitor, adapt, and react to any situation that could arise during that time.
“Before DragonForce, we were using a simple setup to track our field personnel while requesting continuous radio updates on their status and positions relayed through our dispatchers,” said Sgt. Matt Riddle, City of Salem. “After switching over to DragonForce, we have freed up our dispatchers, and we are now visualizing real-time locations, updates, and receiving pictures and video from our field teams, as well as interoperating and coordinating with other agencies without as much reliance on our radios as our primary interface to get information from the field. It truly had revolutionized and simplified our operations when we needed it most. The fact that the DragonForce team had us up and running in less than an hour was amazing as well. By utilizing DragonForce, we are no longer limited to just a dots-on-the-map solution. We’ve upgraded the city’s entire operations and are bringing on additional city departments like Fire, and Emergency Management, so we have an entire overwatch continuously at our fingertips,” added Sgt. Riddle.
“Our customers must respond to complex, highly dynamic situations that require split-second decisions based on the best possible tactical information available,” said James Sim, Drakontas CEO. “Since its inception, Drakontas was built to simplify complex operations for any city, county, state, or enterprise that requires continuous collaboration and interoperability to provide better, faster, and safer decisions.”

Drakontas Partners with RapidSOS
Providing Life-saving Emergency Data using DragonForceDrakontas has recently implemented RapidSOS’ emergency response data platform which securely and automatically links life-saving data from connected devices, apps, and profiles directly to 911 and first responders in an emergency. When a 911 call comes in, DragonForce can now query the RapidSOS platform to display caller location and additional data, such as opt-in medical information, telematics, alarm sensor data, and more.
DragonForce embeds RapidSOS web-based tool, RapidSOS Portal, to query a caller’s location and access supplemental data upon receiving a 911 call. With this information, dynamic groups can be assigned to handle the type of incident identified. The information from the RapidSOS Portal is seamlessly integrated with DragonForce’s real-time personnel tracking, tactical whiteboarding, and shared situational reporting capabilities. This streamlines the workflow to identify and assign the appropriate resources to respond to incidents of any type or size. DragonForce provides the “common operating picture” that field responders and key decision-makers need to connect, collaborate, and control any incident.
