Drakontas provides program administration and management support for state and federal technology programs.
These efforts include trial and evaluation of new technologies, creating guidelines for the deployment of existing technologies, and identifying research and development requirements to improve the communications capabilities for criminal justice, law enforcement, homeland security and warfighter communities.

Drakontas also serve as a resource to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice, in support of the NLECTC Communications Technologies Center of Excellence (COE). More information about the COE can be found at: www.commtechcoe.org
